Sweetwater Sound Not So Sweet - Chuck Surack - When Complaints Are Settled To The Customers Satisfaction - Reports are Eliminated

A Roland Synth AX was sent back to Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne, IN under the "30 day protection policy." Proper procedure was followed, even though the RA was almost a year in coming.

As an aside, the building Chuck Surack built was way out of line for the economy of the day.  It is built like a mansion.  It is huge and in a hard to get to place.  Toilets that flush themselves, exercise rooms, luxurious surroundings.  I could go on and on but.......  Chuck Surack also plays the local bar scene.  That is really strange.

Mike Harris said they were having trouble with a salesman by the name of Bill Lewis and the RA was never sent out.  Mike Harris said he was extremely sorry that the incident happened and immediately issued an RA. The unit was back at Sweetwater Sound within two days.  Mike Harris who now denies this said, the difference would be just a few dollars, I really can't see a problem.  Mike Harris says I would never do that.  Customer said again, check the tapes.  Customer even offered to throw them a bone and said customer would buy the model below Lucy 09 for $599., Mike Harris immediately says I can't sell that for any lower than $699.  Well, tell me the difference between the two, long pause, it's black.  ?????  After Mike Harris' insight into the product, I called other dealers.  The price point started at $664. for the Black One.  Then, the sales guy said I don't think I can do it for that. I can do it for $100. off plus a year to pay.  Wow.  It's just like car insurance or home insurance.  The rule never stay with them more than three years because your premiums inch up and up and pretty soon you have a whopping insurance bill after having made no claims.  Sweetwater Sound lulls you into thinking they do a lot for you.  In a sense, yes, that take as much money as you have.

The unit was shipped immediately after receiving the information over the phone, perfect in condition, to Sweetwater Sound and as expected numerous defects appeared on the "chassis" which is inside the keyboard.  Typical procedure.  The pictures emailed back show no scratches, dents or any other imperfections and the color was different indicating more that one Roland AX was used.  The pictures don't show anything at all.  It was perfect just as Customer shipped it.  With all accessories except for the manual which he said was just misplaced and now found.  There was no midi cord included with the original shipment.  So, everything was there except the manual which Customer said he would find, which he did.

The original purchase date was 8-27-2009, within the return period of the unit, an RA was called in due to the poor finish, the extreme weight and generally poor sounds.   Meanwhile, the bill was due from American Express and since the bills are always paid ahead and Sweetwater Sound had no intention of taking the unit back under the 30 day guarantee, it was Sweet business as usual.

Today, the reporter received a call from Sweetwater Sound with what he expected.  They would take the unit back for a huge deduction arguing it was almost a year, I rest my case. Moot, no RA, doesn't matter if it's one day or one year.  Had the RA been sent out it would have been less than a month.  

Mike Harris immediately talked to management and as if the unit was Sweetwater Sound's property, issued a credit to an American Express Business Card that was way short of the $1199.00 and even over the 15% restock fee sometimes applied if a unit comes back in pieces.  This in addition to adding $100. to the pre-order price of $1099.95

Mike Harris said "you haven't bought anything from Sweetwater Sound that you haven't returned."  Mike Harris is wrong.  There was a Tracktion Ultimate Upgrade on 4-24-07 - $199.99, a UM1EX for $39.97, a Melodyne Cre8 -$309.97, a ReMote 61 Key USB MIDI controller and Kontact 3 for $399.97.

Having met due diligence by repeated calls to Sweetwater Sound that the RA was never received and the past performance of Sweetwater Sound in cases like these was expected, it was not the customer's fault but the Sweetwater Sound's lack of due diligence by making sure the employee that was fired business was taken care of.  Any arguments that Chuck Surack or Mike Harris can come up with are moot.  Had the RA been sent almost a year ago, which bounced back to them, because of the wrong email address, it is still their due diligence to find the customer and make sure that person got the RA within the prescribed time limit.

Mike Harris posed an interesting question.  After pointing out all the advantages of buying at Sweetwater, tech support, who uses that?, and .......??  Mike Harris said customer was costing him money.  Mike Hariss asked, "Do you work for free."   The customer said, as a matter of fact, yes I do, I mow lawns for widows and people that are more disabled than customer is and blow snow for same, my gas, my machines, my mileage.  Do you know what snow blowers and lawn mowers cost every couple of years for 31 years because of overuse.  Under $12,000..

Sweetwater Sound had the gall, without even calling the owner, placed the Roland Synth on their web page.  There was no permission to do this nor any acceptance of an offer to return an amount way less than the $1199.99 originally paid.  That was with the $275. they were taking from customer, plus another sucker customer, they would be selling this so called damaged piece of merchandise for more that the original customer paid.  http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/AXSynthd/  $900.  In other words, Sweetwater was selling merchandise they were not authorized to sell, in NY, they call that conversion of property or pretty much just plain stealing.

It was turned over to American Express Business Services who handles the card to make sure the full amount was returned.

This is company policy by the owner Chuck Surack.  I also have to mention the price fixing going on with all the music / online sales companies.  Why is the price the same with all the dealers.  Isn't this known as price fixing, the United States government tried to get rid of.  Isn't price fixing still against the law?

Chuck Surack do you have to be so greedy to screw this customer for $30.40 in UPS shipping, an inordinate amount of deductions, $125. for a renewal card from Amex and a person who will never buy another thing from Sweetwater Sound.  A lot of times we don't get on this end.  Penny wise, dollar foolish.  If this goes on for more than a day, you are indeed very foolish Mr. Chuck Surack.  Or, business is really, really bad.

Chuck Surack LEEDER of the Musical Industry - Some of the Why.

ed: Chuck Surack has elevated himself to levels of a green planet.  Chuck, it was always green since God created it by the Word of His mouth.  I don't think we need another politician which are right now an endangered species.

Chuck Surack, while leading tours of his well mortgaged by Ft. Wayne funds has no compunction in stealing money from his formula of a 30 day guarantee.  Chuck Surack has risen to the point of taking someone's keyboard and putting it up for sale on his website without the permission of the owner.

Surack hopes to inspire more than just his approximately 350 employees. Although the business’ primary focus pertains to selling audio equipment and recording services, they also see their recent efforts as an opportunity to advertise and educate.  ed: Chuck, educate me on how to steal money from the disabled folks of this country.

As with every business, however, financial goals must be taken into account as well.  Sweetwater has discovered that you can synchronize these efforts, keeping both the environment and the checkbook in balance. ed: all fine well and good but we do have to watch who's checkbook you are taking money out of.

ed: It's almost nice to accept praise and honor and glory, isn't it Chuck Surack.  Mainly, your customers are absolute fools for buying equipment at the prices, way high and fixed, but some day, the head eats the tail and the bill from the boys in Ft. Wayne is due. “We are proud to be the first commercial Platinum LEED certified building in Northeast Indiana,” said Surack. “It is a great place for events from around the community. Hearing the positive feedback from local environmental groups makes it all worth it.”  ed: lip service worth nothing!

 “We really wanted this to be a comfortable space for our employees and guests,” said Surack. “I’d imagine that at least 80% of our employees have window views from their desks which greatly helps morale.” ed: imagination is great when you are using your own money and not customers who want to return their equipment with "the guaranteed 30 return privilege."  Your employees have been trained, excruciatingly to never take back a piece of equipment, ad infinitum, until they get so sick of your bs, they either give up or accept some ridiculous return that's is well over the 15% restock fee, this comes from a sampling of people that are dissatisfied with Sweetwater Sound's screwing around.  As a customer reported, yesterday, Mike Harris said to him, "you know I'm losing money talking to you."  That is part of the reason you buy from Sweetwater Sound isn't it. What Chuck Surack doesn't mention that many of these employees need psychiatric care because of the pressure cooker they are put in. Customers have heard meltdowns which are all recorded by the way, no one is that naive now to believe that isn't true, of employees having the worst experience of their life.

Chuck Surack has become the self-proclaimed premier retailer of the world as far as musical instruments go.  Unfortunately, there is a store in upstate NY that is so big, you could fit a dozen Sweetwater's in it.  This retailer may take out a 2X2 in the back of Keyboard Mag occasionally and usually has more stock in his continuing buying warehouse after warehouse, when the manufacturers run out of equipment they go to him.

Chuck it.  "Remember, the customer is always right and when that customer saw his Roland Synth AX for sale on your website, he said wtf, that's conversion of goods, a felony.  For those that don't understand, if Chuck Surack could sell a piece of equipment before the deal is set and has permission to do so, it means interest.  If you do this enough times during a day, the profits alone from that are 7 figures. Enough times and the government gets interest in an ongoing criminal enterprise and starts to look at the RICO statutes of an ongoing criminal enterprise.

Chuck Surack - Builds High End Jaguar Dealership - Cost To Chuck Surack - Reported Minimal

I heard the other day about what seemed to be a real blatant bit of insider dealing.  It is a lesson in how Fort Wayne works and how rumors grow into something more.

The story was of a sweet-heart deal and conflict of interest.  It involved a leading citizen and one of his employees sitting on a board making the decision on the matter.

You might recall newspaper accounts that the old Allen County/Dimension Ford site just west of Swinney Park may soon become the property of Sweetwater Sound owner Chuck Surack.  He is considering a Jaguar dealership there and has stated he will make significant improvements to the building and grounds, in exchange for a very good deal on the building and grounds.  The cost to Mr. Surack will be minimal, the value of the real estate is considerable. It seems a sweet-heart deal among political and business insiders.  Add to that the fact that Mr. Surack is the employer of one Chris Guerin who is the president of the Redevelopment Commission, the appointed board tasked with unloading the building and grounds.

It just looks, well, a bit oily.

After a number of calls and chats with those involved it seems only a matter of fact in a smallish town with an even smaller pool of potential players.

The plan is to put an upscale Jaguar dealership in the bland little building.  That appeals to the City which  wants the building to be put back into use and returned to the tax rolls.

A source in government tells me that a number of other people came forward to offer uses for the building, but Mr. Surack’s offer was the best by far. The other proposals, did not plan to substantially rehab the building, nor improve the grounds, nor increase the tax base nor create many if any new jobs.  Some of the offers were “okay,” according to my contact, but mostly just took the building as is and did little to improve the economic situation in the city.

At the commission meeting which I did not attend, I am told by two people that Mr. Guerin was surprised the matter was on the agenda and recused himself from the discussion and voting: “He did not speak or participate in the discussion.”  I was also told that the attorney for the commission, John Wernet, also recused himself because his law firm also occasionally represents Sweetwater Sound, the company Mr. Surack has built into an international musical instrument sales powerhouse.

So, that left the other members of the commission to decide whether to accept Mr. Surack’s offer.  They did.  One member added that the other candidates for the property “backed out” and that the whole deal was “above board.”  That member has an excellent reputation in Fort Wayne, so I take her word.

Fort Wayne is a small town.  I will guess there is one degree of separation between most of us; introduce two strangers and they are likely to have twenty contacts or friends in common.  When one moves to the more rarefied air of political of social leadership the links are immediate.  I know Mr. Surack and Mr. Wernet, I know Chris Guerin, I know Greg Leatherman, the Economic Development director for the city, and I know two other members of the Commission.  One is an old junior high buddy and we remain friends, even though he recently turned down my refinance request.  Tisk.

In Fort Wayne, it is hard not to know many of the players in deals that affect the public purse or the community well being.  On the surface this looks very much like a sweet-heart deal.  Dig deeper and it seems that Mr. Surack has offered to invest some of his considerable wealth in a dilapidated building that will soon yield a few jobs and return to the tax rolls.  He will certainly benefit, as well.  I should add that Mr. Surack is a major donor to many charities in the area and has a spotless reputation.  He has created a company, built it into a powerhouse and greatly benefits the city.

So, we have looked into the matter and it seems much worse than it turned out to be.  It seems to have been a fair dealing, but confused by the inherent problems of a city our size in a down economy.  I don’t think this is a conflict of interest.

Obama Following The Theory Of Two Of His Professors In College Says Classmate.

Two teachers who taught Obama the theory of collapsing the US government is working.  You have to do the legwork on this one.

One of Obama 's classmates who took the same courses with two Professors in his College days says that these two teachers had a theory that if you keep increasing the debt of the US and kept printing and distributing money, the country will collapse.

Looks like it's working.  Obama is setting himself up for accepting the role of the head of the New World Government.  Obama is on the fast track.

As another little tidbit, he demanded the Crucifix be covered up when he spoke at Georgetown Catholic University recently.  It won't be long.  He is coming!

"It's an investment in life," says Hodge, a Teamsters union representative. "I want to make sure I have a place I can take me and my family if that worst-case scenario were to happen."

There are signs that underground shelters, almost-forgotten relics of the Cold War era, are making a comeback.

The Vivos network, which offers partial ownerships similar to a timeshare in underground shelter communities, is one of several ventures touting escape from a surface-level calamity.

Radius Engineering in Terrell, Texas, has built underground shelters for more than three decades, and business has never been better, says Walton McCarthy, company president.

The company sells fiberglass shelters that can accommodate 10 to 2,000 adults to live underground for one to five years with power, food, water and filtered air, McCarthy says.

The shelters range from $400,000 to a $41 million facility Radius built and installed underground that is suitable for 750 people, McCarthy says. He declined to disclose the client or location of the shelter.

"We've doubled sales every year for five years," he says. Other shelter manufacturers include Hardened Structures of Colorado and Utah Shelter Systems, which also report increased sales.

The shelters have their critics. Ken Rose, a history professor at California State University-Chico and author of One Nation Underground: The Fallout Shelter in American Culture, says underground shelters were a bad idea a half-century ago and they're a bad idea now.

"A terrorist with a nuke in a suitcase pales in comparison to what the Cold War had to offer in the 1950s and '60s, which was the potential annihilation of the human race," he says.

Steve Davis, president of Maryland-based All Hands Global Emergency Management Consulting, also is skeptical.

All Hands has helped more than 100 public and private sector clients with emergency management and homeland security services, according to its website.

The types of cataclysms envisioned by some shelter manufacturers "are highly unlikely compared to what we know is going to happen," Davis says.

"We know there is going to be a major earthquake someday on the West Coast. We know a hurricane is going to hit Florida, the Gulf Coast, the East Coast," he says. "We support reasonable preparedness. We don't think it's necessary to burrow into the desert."

The Vivos network is the idea of Del Mar, Calif., developer Robert Vicino.

Vicino, who launched the Vivos project last December, says he seeks buyers willing to pay $50,000 for adults and $25,000 for children.

The company is starting with a 13,000-square-foot refurbished underground shelter formerly operated by the U.S. government at an undisclosed location near Barstow, Calif., that will have room for 134 people, he says.

Vicino puts the average cost for a shelter at $10 million.

Vivos plans for facilities as large as 100,000 square feet, says real estate broker Dan Hotes of Seattle, who over the past four years has collaborated with Vicino on a project involving partial ownership of high-priced luxury homes and is now involved with Vivos.

Catastrophe shelters today may appeal to those who seek to bring order to a world full of risk and uncertainty, says Alexander Riley, an associate professor of sociology at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa.

"They're saying, 'I can control everything,' " Riley says. " 'With the right amount of rational planning, I can even survive an asteroid hitting the Earth that causes a dust cloud like the kind we believe wiped the dinosaurs out.' "

The Vivos website features a clock counting down to Dec. 21, 2012, the date when the ancient Mayan "Long Count" calendar marks the end of a 5,126-year era, at which time some people expect an unknown apocalypse.

Vicino, whose terravivos.com website lists 11 global catastrophes ranging from nuclear war to solar flares to comets, bristles at the notion he's profiting from people's fears.

"You don't think of the person who sells you a fire extinguisher as taking advantage of your fear," he says. "The fact that you may never use that fire extinguisher doesn't make it a waste or bad.

"We're not creating the fear; the fear is already out there. We're creating a solution."

Big Oil, Corporations down to the vengeance filled individuals think nothing of reaching in, causing as much damage as they can and wonder why their personal and family lives are falling apart.  How on earth can they ask for money and take tax breaks, and yet ask everyone why is this happening to me/us, they have $200. haircuts and dye/tint jobs and are seeing specialists for their appearance problems.  What on earth are they thinking?  I would bet that they would claim to be Christians as well after going in with a wrecking ball and ruining other people's families and causing them pain, agony and huge financial loss when those people held them together forever.  Probably attending church every Sunday as the Pastor looks at them and thinks why/how? As was told to me, that's between you and God and what a day that will be.

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Oil giant BP PLC will reduce its contribution to U.S. coffers by roughly $10 billion due to a tax credit the company is claiming it incurred from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

BP /quotes/comstock/13*!bp/quotes/nls/bp (BP 37.93, -0.72, -1.87%) said Tuesday that it is incurring a charge of $32.2 billion from the Gulf response, and as such, it is claiming a $9.9 billion taxation credit.

Asked in a conference call Tuesday about whether it has discussed the tax credit with President Barack Obama's administration, outgoing BP Chief Executive Tony Hayward said, "We have followed the IRS regulations as they're currently written."

This sickness is all over the world.  Knowing people, knowing what they did, yet thinking it's ok, God will understand.  I don't think so and the constant walking away from Jesus puts them in the category of "wasn't saved to begin with."

attempt to draw a line under its troubles in the US by axing its chief executive has been blunted after Tony Hayward said he would be "too busy" to attend a Senate hearing on Thursday.

The oil company risked further inflaming a delicate trans-Atlantic relationship when its directors described BP as a "model of corporate social responsibility" despite being at the centre of the worst oil spill in American history.

Speaking to journalists at the company's London headquarters, Hayward claimed that he had been unfairly "demonised and vilified" in the US where Barack Obama and other politicians have been severely critical of BP's actions and taken exception to some of Hayward's public comments.

The Senate foreign relations committee has asked Hayward to appear in Washington to explain BP's alleged role in influencing the release of the Lockerbie bomber in order to win drilling rights in Libya.

But Hayward said today he could not go because "I have got a busy week [in the office]". BP said it would send another representative to testify at the hearing.

This infuriated committee member Robert Menendez who made reference to the BP boss's pay-off – a year's salary and his pension pot, together worth £11m. "It is apparently more important to BP and Mr Hayward to focus on his multimillion dollar golden parachute than to help answer serious questions about whether the company advocated trading blood for oil," said Menendez.

The Copout

BP made the announcement as it plunged into the red for the first time in 18 YEARS after racking up a huge clean-up bill of more than £20BILLION — the cost of TWO Olympic games — for the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

Under-fire Mr Hayward will be handed a part-time role at the firm's joint venture in Russia, whose oil and gas fields are nearly all on the vast, bleak Siberian plains.

But the frozen out chief exec will NOT be based in Russia - and will just jet in for board meetings.

I knew it!

It is starting and  was planned from the beginning.  There is no company that sustain this kind of loss.  Now comes the blame game, the checkerboard to move things around, the chess game to start to confuse and the Chinese game Go to finish it off.

Eventually, BP doesn't own that platform and never did but we need money from Obama for damaging our reputation.  Watch and see!

Never Cease To Amaze

And, of more immediate concern to people along the nation's southern coast, where will the millions of as-yet uncollected, unburned, unseen gallons of oil from the blown-out Deepwater Horizon well end up?

Second-generation Plaquemine's Parish resident Sandy Reno isn't sure she wants to wait around to find out the answers. ed: that is proper thinking..........

"I'm ready to pack up and leave," says Reno, 43, whose shrimper husband, like so many others along this coast, is now dependent on cleanup work from the company held responsible for the disaster. "When you've had enough, you've had enough. I've had enough already."  ed: now if more people had enough, we would have ourselves a country to live in.

Just as the stumbling federal response to Hurricane Katrina five years ago exposed not just chinks, but spider web networks of fissures in our national armor, the failure to prevent and then quickly stop the spill has shaken many people's faith in American might.  ed: who killed JFK, the money went to the rich, wake up!

I Guess There Is Nothing To Really Say About This One, Except Barbecue!

Since their arrival Friday afternoon, the Obamas have been biking, hiking and boating their way around Mount Desert Island, the third-largest island on the Eastern Seaboard and home to the 47,000-acre Acadia National Park.

Patty Ryan, 64, a retired land conservation specialist and one of the protest's organizers, said the group had been holding anti-war protests every Sunday, rain or shine, beginning the week after Sept. 11, 2001, but ending on the day Obama was elected, "to give him a chance." ed: To do what?  Barbecue, lobster, for everyone. A lobster in every pot but no gas or electric to cook it, cookie, cookie, lend me your comb.

Who cares about anything but themselves.

Mel Gibson Derided On The Phil Matthews, Phil Donahue (Who Cares) Show.  Not sure of the name because, I look at just another mouth with no name. 

A few days ago I saw the usual suspects sitting in a semi-circle trashing Mel Gibson.  The leader of the biggest mouths was listening to this panel, unrecognizable, telling of how disgusted she and they were and would never forget his alleged words of hatred, Semitism, woman abuse, etc.  They took turns in saying basically that Mel Gibson would never see another one of their bucks.  That he was finished in the business and something I've heard personally.  "You'll never work in this town again."

Listen, Please:

Everyone on God's Earth has probably done a lot worse.  You will forget about Mel Gibson minutes after this TV show.  Mel Gibson will be bigger than ever before.  The incident due to flash publicists will be on someone else and the declining rate of memory about people will grow shorter and shorter as human selfishness obliterates it from their memory.  There is a point coming along with self absorption that people will have to take refresher courses on who their family is on a daily basis.

Vice President Biden is out with an alarmed e-mail cash appeal warning that the GOP will mount a “blitzkrieg” against Democrats in the fall.

Comparing GOP tactics to the fast-striking forces of Nazi Germany, Biden warns in a message sent by the DCCC today: “As things heat up, you can expect House Democrats will be hit with a GOP blitzkrieg of vicious Swift-Boat-style attack ads, Karl Rove-inspired knockout tactics, thinly veiled attempts at character assassination and tea party disruptions.”

And while the GOP is mounting a blitzkrieg, Democrats are the allies.

Defense

Obama 'Internet kill switch' plan approved by US Senate panel

President could get power to turn off Internet

A US Senate committee has approved a wide-ranging cybersecurity bill that some critics have suggested would give the US president the authority to shut down parts of the Internet during a cyberattack.

Senator Joe Lieberman and other bill sponsors have refuted the charges that the Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act gives the president an Internet "kill switch." Instead, the bill puts limits on the powers the president already has to cause "the closing of any facility or stations for wire communication" in a time of war, as described in the Communications Act of 1934, they said in a breakdown of the bill published on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee website.

"It's A Beautiful Thing"

While every person is using any and every means to forget that as a planet, we are through.  If anyone thinks BP is coming back and is a viable risk to take in the stock market, well, you can answer that one.  For the first time I believe the leaders of companies, countries, the four people that run the business are drinking themselves to sleep.  The best scenario to these people is: after 80 years of complete abuse of everything that exists, they all know it's time.

Just think, if you spent time creating a beautiful place and watch it be destroyed by humans, how you would feel.  Personally, I looked at the trees yesterday and suddenly remembered how bright green they once used to be.  Now, it's like looking through a mist at a dark green, that is weeping, praising and waiting ....  soon, very soon.

The people I talk to and trust, if I will ever do that again, are thinking the same.  Once vibrant, hopeful people, your closest, will mirror exactly what you are thinking, the beautiful color dreams you are having and once you wake?

The last five years have been a horror to me.  This is not a pity party because I can stand, walk, eat and go to the bathroom.  I praise Jesus everyday, all day for this alone.

Someone who was the last person on earth went completely delusional, a person whom I thought was immune from that.    Not a cross, not a bead, not a constant teaching of fear or the present teaching of, God wants you to prosper, send us money and he will bless your finances."  "be happy, be rich."  There are so many false teachers present in this day than any other in history.  Over the years I witnessed a person who could argue any point endlessly of all the Holy Bible, yet has Jesus not.  The last person on earth I thought would be capable of such a heinous act as was committed in less than 10 minutes is one of these people.  They are genius's, wily, cunning, devious, deceptive, liars and they are teaching their children and grandchildren the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  They stay away from those who will look through them in an instant and stay among the wolves in sheep's clothing.  Right at this instant they are cursing this person and this article. Why, because everyone has a choice.

As my Pastor said last week, there is not one thing you can do to gain a better place, a saved child, more grace, be holier than thou, not one.  I believe this Pastor is the closest thing to the truth in this time, although he is a sinner, like everyone else.  To mention his name I would dishonor him.

My adventure started with a visit to Sears to check a left from brake noise and ended with a manager from Sears Auto, who says he is a master mechanic but doesn't work on cars.  A loud mouth, know it all, tells you your car is perfect even though when I took off I heard the left front caliper noise that might cause a roll, endo, flip and spin.  The total was about $1700.  When I brought it in, there was a little noise in the left front brake and is grabbed a bit.  The steering wheel was centered, now it isn't.  After an attempted repair on the left caliper which they say had a bolt that was stripped, a lug nut that was stripped, one very loose tie rod, cylinder 2 & 4 misfiring, tire wear on the left front side, hmmm, etc. This is akin to going to a doctor to have something looked at, then you start displaying stroke, heart, cholesterol, sugar symptoms, etc.  They thought they had a sucker.  But no!  They needed to align the car, I said no because I have never seen an alignment work except on a printout or a hand written drawing.

Anyway, after telling me how great my car was and at this time I have to give kudos' to the guys who did the work they were told.  They were good. The last guy was the alignment guy, nice kid, respectful, what a work ethic, I don't see that anymore in teens, early adults.

End of the story, the loud mouth said he would take the defective tires back in for some more money.  I said I offered that two weeks ago and it will now be an even trade, top of the line Michelin Performance tires, even trade, I was charged the same price.

He started really embarrassing himself in front of about 7 customers.  I said to them all in a calm, yes I am the nasty guy, I really don't want to be like this.  Of course, I will forget the trouble that Sears Auto got into for doing the same exact thing years ago.  He then shut his mouth.

Beginning of story.  I have to remember all this anyways.  I brought it in for someone to look at the left front caliper.  I went with them each step of the way, I'm a waiter.  The left front caliper had to be drilled, have larger threads put in, rotors put in, the same gypsy scheme over and over, because the bolt that holds it to the bracket was moving in and out, someone had stripped it.  

They then put on four tires which were supposed to be high end racing, low profile tires, either Michelin or Bridgestone but I got the only tire they had four of, Sumomachimoto.  Rotors replaced, not necessary and A low end 30,000 mile tire.

The next day, the car did stop in a straight line but it wanted to cross the median and crash into anyone on the other side of the highway.  I went back, they balanced the wheels.  Next day, car goes right, wants to crash into a guardrail.  Back, tie rod Very Loose, replaced.  The car is now unmanageable and dangerous.  Back again, the alignment guy did his best.  He had all wheels on all hubs, balanced every time.  He was in and out for about an hour an a half.  He was a great example of a real role model young adult.  He says I tried, I think I got it, then one of the two master mechanics said what's this, why did they drill the caliper out, this should have been replaced.  Of course, not knowing that the left caliper was ordered, the new right caliper was sent, non interchangeable and put on anyway on the right front.  No difference, back again.  So, the manager pronounces the car, race ready and made a buffoon of himself.  Sad.  I then told him all parties agreed including one of your master mechanics that the car was unsafe, and the tires were defective and had to be replaced.  I asked the stallion manager to replace the tires with the ones I came in for in the first place, he refused and wanted still more money.  I said I will give you five dollars, he said no, I said I will make a note of that, he said "I will two," it was like talking to a belligerent 5 year old, I stopped because I did not want to go to jail.

I went across to the lawn furniture and called GE Money Bank and disputed the charge, not part of it but all of it.  The guy took every word down said in a respectful way.  He said we will take the money out of Sears bank.  Obviously there were other people that were complaining.  Dick the supreme manager also mentioned that he was a master mechanic, but not working on cars.  Yikes?  

He started to come over to get some paper work from me but thought better, and went back someplace.  I finished the call with the dispute department.  Since all work is guaranteed, I owed nothing so I hopped in my car and took off.  I have or found out that day I don't have a rage problem anymore, and once again didn't want to go to jail. Now I have to spend days at drafting my response.  With Sears having been caught at this before, I don't foresee a problem.

I have all the names and do well at this sort of thing but $1700. later the problem I brought it in for is still there.  Talking to a former manager of a Valvoline lube job business, they were instructed by the bosses to make sure they up the price by telling people things are bad that aren't.  One favorite trick, if they got women in, they would either throw away the over priced air filter, show an old dirty one and of course, she would say replace it.  This manager refused to those dishonest things and was constantly harangued by his boss and employees.  Unfortunately for Valvoline, he taped everything, harassing phone calls, office one on ones, everything.  The manager was eventually fired and Valvoline settled.  Discriminate and that's your fate.

NYSEG raised it's electricity rates overnight.  This explains why I got a call from NYSEG one month ago saying I was going to have a big balloon payment is June and July to catch up.  I said catch up, at the moment NYSEG owes me 450 dollars.  Apparently this rep from NYSEG knew that the rates would be going up today.  Is there any dirty play involved.  How did this rep know there would be a price rise?  Is this illegal?

The rep informed me that he would like to raise my budget payment from 115. a month to 157. a month.  I thought it was just a scam to get the HEAP money plus the money I pay in addition every month.  After paying another 100. in May, I should be way ahead of my current usage.

I asked him how since our usage goes up and we start using less, despite the cost issue, could this be happening.  Either there is something wrong with computers or our meters are way off.

He jabbered away until he dug a hole for himself.  When there was no explanation why our usage was up when I told him we were savers and watch our NYSEG bill closely and compensate by using less, he excused himself and hung up.

First, he knew there would be a huge rise in electricity today one month ago.  Second, when he did not offer to send someone out to check the meters, I knew something was amiss.

I hope NYSEG gets caught real soon.  They have been sticking it to us for decades.  What about the purchase of 50 Segways when they first came out @ 5000 dollars a pop?  Who paid for that, ?  you got that right!

Well, about now you've got to be wondering why you voted for Obama?  He nor McCain could have done anything to stem the greed and jealousy that started with Cain and Abel.

I hope everyone realizes by now the Presidential election makes no difference.  The people that we send to represent us don't have a say, we send our money to the US government and the "lawmakers" we elect put pork in bills that have to pass so they can have institutional gatherings attached to their names.  Much rather have the cash, wouldn't you?

As I hit Drudge this morning and Obama said, "we are out of money," I went, hmmm, wow, I wonder who told him that.  I knew it in 1970 when I was being screwed by car dealers, musical instruments dealers, the gas and oil companies, NYSEG, AT&T, put it on a piece of paper and pull it out of a hat, literally, everyone.  I knew we were behind a couple trillion dollars at that point in time.

Someone said to me, so and so graduated and so and so will be putting her to work, they want to be millionaires. My reply, oh, so they want to be at the bottom of the pile, he's too old anyway, forget about it.

Further, I just record it so I can watch Simon Cowell's comments, Paula Abdul, why is she there?, the other girl, who is she?, and so I can fast forward through the commercials.

The Randy Jackson's put together video assessment of Ryan Seacrest's best moments of Randy Jackson's 2008-2009 career, (by the way who is Randy Jackson?, was he one of the backup drummers for Earth, Wind and Fire or the Allman Brothers? or the Dead? or Phil Collins or did he just play bongo's) I never heard the, Dude, (well that one I did, kind of forgot about it because it sounds so stupid), train wreck shared by them all, just wasn't right for me, for me, for me, for me, for me, for me, etc., but the thing from me to you, look dawg, etc.

I believe Adam Lambert got the shaft last night, even though I don't follow these things, too old but many, many years ago, I would have given everything but my soul to sing like that, Lambert's voice was superior.  I wish Chris the best in his idol career.  I guess America was looking for something warm and fuzzy which I don't cast any aspersions on.  Any of that we can get now is the best.  Besides, Lambert will make out astoundingly well, anyway and I wish Chris well on his next year as the "idol."

Washington, DC -- UK's Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science advisor to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, claimed House Democrats have refused to allow him to appear alongside former Vice President Al Gore at a high profile global warming hearing on Friday April 24, 2009 at 10am in Washington. Monckton told Climate Depot that the Democrats rescinded his scheduled joint appearance at the House Energy and Commerce hearing on Friday. Monckton said he was informed that he would not be allowed to testify alongside Gore when his plane landed from England Thursday afternoon.

“The House Democrats don't want Gore humiliated, so they slammed the door of the Capitol in my face,” Monckton told Climate Depot in an exclusive interview. “They are cowards.”

According to Monckton, Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas), Ranking Member on the Energy & Commerce Committee, had invited him to go head to head with Gore and testify at the hearing on Capitol Hill Friday. But Monckton now says that when his airplane from London landed in the U.S. on Thursday, he was informed that the former Vice-President had “chickened out” and there would be no joint appearance. Gore is scheduled to testify on Friday to the Subcommittee on Energy and the Environment's fourth day of hearings on the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009. The hearing will be held in 2123 Rayburn House Office Building.

According to Monckton, House Democrats told the Republican committee staff earlier this week that they would be putting forward an unnamed 'celebrity' as their star witness Friday at a multi-panel climate hearing examining the House global warming bill. The "celebrity" witness turned out to be Gore. Monckton said the GOP replied they would respond to the Democrats' "celebrity" with an unnamed "celebrity" of their own. But Monckton claims that when the Democrats were told who the GOP witness would be, they refused to allow him to testify alongside Gore.

Al Gore has done the impossible.  After being literally finished in politics, he reinvented himself as a proponent to breaking the God's set in universal stone law of physics.

We can get minutely closer to looking at the wonder of it all, but any man that thinks any other man can do anything to help or harm God's Creation is fooling himself and only himself.  He is scared to face a person that could debunk his entire life with a few paragraphs.  Follow the money.  It's Al's paycheck and everyone connected with it makes money.  It's sad to to see someone publicly self destruct.  Sadder still is thinking others blindly follow this darwinian approach to physics.  God is Sovereign and will always be the great I AM.  He alone will destroy with fire all man's works, and He alone will create the new heaven and the new earth.  After this is done Jesus will hand the keys back to the Father so all will be in all.

Well, the copyright people have brought down Pirate Bay a file sharing network.  They have found the people that run the system guilty in Round 1.  They have fined them 3.6 million plus.  On the other hand I give my music away and am a household word around the world.  Isn't that what musicians want, selfish popularity.  Yes, people know me around the world but do they know the Beach Boys or the Beatles, I seriously doubt it.  Keep on killing the music business you rock and rollers but learn how to knit socks first.

Doesn't Congress or Obama ever feel really dumb?  How many people in the US are unhappy.  I can name one this past week.

Disaster

We have come to a point where the President laughs at the second trillion dollar "budget" plan, is doing the talk show circuit and being interviewed by whoever will have him on the Tube.

While being interviewed about all the supporters that have left him, he was asked about the insanity, my words, of the President Oback Barama revival.  I don't use this misspelling as disrespect but apparently others have made this mistake as well, so I will just leave it.

He started laughing at the interviewer, much the same as when Senator Clinton was on meds and laughing at inappropriate times.

The interviewer in between Barack Obama giggling, the interviewer pressed the point about the inappropriate lack of seriousness about what Woodrow Wilson had taken the complete blame for turning our government over to the world, a government which we had fought for to be free by relinquishing the control of our economy.  He said it will certainly be the demise of our country, the United States, in the near future.

Well, it wasn't so near, if you consider our present and always 70 years average life span but it has happened.  Even the most optimistic people I know are saying goodbye, what that means is anybody's guess.  Everyone knows our economy will never come back as even people at the bottom knew it because of man's greed.  As AIG's officials have said, after they continued to give bonuses to executives, do not wear your colors, (motorcycle gang term of an identifying logo of any sort in public) because of the hostility of the average American law abiding citizen.  Some people have lost everything but invention is the mother of destroying the people that destroyed America from within and some of them guaranteed have laid plans to do just that.

What we now have is a person who even his own race is embarrassed of, along with no Democratic support and three Republicans that think he is very cool.

He mentioned he was giggling and laughing at the most serious non violent problem (so far) we are facing right now and called it "Gallows's humor."  I believe he is just enjoying his last days as President as the world gets closer to one world government, one world church and the one person who will control it all.

As another point comes to mind, while all this has been going on, gangs of all sorts have been equipping themselves with tactical weapons that the most combat ready soldier's don't even have access to.  The underground storage of a cache of weapons that can not be imagined are stored and ready, for what, I haven't the slightest idea but you know as well as I, most people have no compunction about using lethal, deadly force, even in the Honky Tonk bars across our land at the toss of a word.

I know if the people that really never cared less have woken up, and as AIG puts it ready for retribution to the greed of the people that took this country down in the name of free enterprise.  Free enterprise to do to them what they did for themselves.

Post mortem: there is none.

Sentry Safe Warning.  Purchasing a particular model could be hazardous.  I bought a simple heavy fire and water proof safe from Wal-Mart.  It was a Sentry Fire Safe, to be used to protect paperwork.  The model purchased was a Sentry Fire and Water Proof safe.  The model number is Sentry Safe F-2300.

This Sentry Safe was in a controlled environment, and never subjected to a fire or flood.  The Sentry Safe was a year and two months old.

I wanted to look at a document one day.  I picked up the safe and carried it from the bottom hugged against my body.  As I turned to place the unit down on a flat surface.  The lid of the Sentry safe fell off, fortunately I had just made the turn to put the safe down and the lid fell off.  A mess of white powder came out of the safe.  Not only the hinge part of the Sentry Safe failed but the locking mechanism failed at the same time.

If it had fallen on any children or grand children it would have severely injured them or caused death.  Had the lid fallen on my feet, both feet would have had been destroyed.

I called customer service immediately, mainly to find out what the white powder was and to see if it was a dangerous substance.  It turned out to be concrete which held the back hinge in place and had turned to powder.  I'm not an engineer but using concrete for a hinge is pretty far out engineering.  Why the front lock mechanism failed at the same time is something that shouldn't have happened.  It had a double safety open and close system that should have held the lid, even though the back concrete hinge failed.

I had registered the Sentry Safe and all I wanted was an equal to or better than the safe I had.  The customer service representative said she couldn't replace it because it was "out of warranty."  I explained to her again the damage that could have been done, she said no replacement.  I figured out the email and iphone addresses of the owners, (not hard) and board of directors and the response was, no, let's see if we can work this out all the way to the top, explaining Sentry Safes had due diligence to products sold to everyone.  I tried several times to get this safe replaced and an attorney was in place to deal with me.

He threatened me, told me not to have contact with anyone at Sentry Safes and I told him to cease and desist contacting me.  This attorney also threatened my First Amendment rights.  Having no fear of them whatever, I told him to cease and desist calling me by any means.

I will put up a picture sooner or later but the crux is, if you have this model Sentry Safe F-2300, do not use it.

As a finale, the customer rep said they had problems with that model and had to completely re-design it.  I received no warning notice from Sentry Safe's about the danger of the lid falling off the safe by phone, email or US mail.  The safe was registered the day I bought it, and I have lived at the same residence for many years.

Find a different brand and do your research before buying a safe.

Purified Water Snake Oil Salesmen

Do have money to get a loved one treatment for cancer.  The best treatment for cancer.  I doubt in most of our cases.  There will be warnings on the current situation of the economy, playing on people's fears and the absolute willingness to screw your relatives, friends and enemies on these pages as the economy worsens.

At this juncture, be especially careful of the "snake oil salesmen" of the water purification trade.  You will be able to be talked into anything if a loved one's life is at stake.  

It just like the poor widow who's husband just died unexpectedly.  There are definite rules to follow if this happens.  Do not do anything financially or give possessions away.  Do no throw things away, emptying closets, selling personal items of his for low or no price.  Do not do anything for at least a year unless there are financial problems.  If there are financial problems, and as much as you don't feel like doing anything about them, as much as you are grieving, seek the counsel of many people.  Seek the counsel of the wise and the dumb.  

Write all the information down and study it before you choose a remedy for the financial problems, in doing this, perhaps there really aren't any financial problems and by forcing yourself to deal with them, there is a chance they can be remedied easily.

Purified water sales companies.  Stay away from them.  On a particular website, there is a "family owned" business that advertises juicing machines, acid and alkaline water machines and while telling you the evils of drinking "dead water", more commonly known as distilled water will tell you how it's killing you and it will help cure cancer.  While on the same website, he sells distilled water machines for making and drinking pure water.

These people are often multi level marketers who have a suit for every customer.  They know their trade and they know all the facts and anomaly's.  One particular gentlemen, mutes the TV, answers the phone and makes a couple thousand dollars by using fear alone.

Be careful who you talk to and who you do business with.

Merry Christmas.  For me, Christmas means the blood of Jesus.  The universe is in perfect order.  If you are interested you can check out these few facts.   Jupiter moves in a path that is totally absurd.  Venus moves in a path that is totally absurd, yet you can trace where these planets were 2000 years ago, why because the universe is in perfect order.

Jupiter moves what looks like to be a straight line.  At a point in time, Jupiter stops and starts going the opposite way it came.  Venus does something similar.  

It amazes me the on the night when Christ was born, Jupiter and Venus were so in line that to the naked eye in those times it looked like one big bright light, only discovered later, observers could not tell that the reflected light from the two planets so close to each other  made the brightest star ever known to man.  

It was unmistakably the brightest light that had ever occurred, so bright that I believe, it lit up the earth.  These two planets were created for that one purpose, to appear over Bethlehem, the night Jesus Christ was born.  That was their only purpose for existing.  That was their only mission.  If we look at the universe as pure math, and that it was created, and we can look back 2000 years when this event occurred, the traditional date of December 25th is a man made date, which is all right, because it really makes no difference. 

Jesus was in April sometime, the exact day escapes me because I was so blown away by the math which God created, I missed the exact date, again which makes no difference.

The world economy fizzle seemed to start a "what are we here for,"  "why are we here," at least for a second or two in some peoples minds.  There was an unusual thought, why have we spent so much money for so many years trying to make up for our misdeeds to family and friends and have to be bitter because we have to pay it back in January which this year we really won't be able to afford.  No one will.

I was probably mistaken but I saw a little bit of,  "there is an answer," certainly not in the UAW or automobile manufacturers but I noticed a sprinkling here and there of "God Is Sovereign."  We will trust in him.

For those who know him, they turn to him, maybe for just a little while, but they do, maybe they even get down on their knees and thank him for the blood Jesus shed to be our propitiation for sin.  

The Christmas I long for is no santa claus, which is the first lie to your children, so they don't trust you anymore, ever, in the future, closely followed by the Easter bunny, fairy tale.  Parents continue to perpetrate it to their children and so on and so on it will go to their children, their children's children and their children's children's, children and the lie never stops.

R rated movies released on the day Christ was born, gone permanently.  No trees or plastic trees.  No lights except the light of Jesus.  No worthless mementos that will be in the garbage as soon as company leaves. No music which will be burned in the fire.

No expensive toys that will be broken the same day and thrown away for lack of room or the other thousands of toys that will be trimmed to make room for the "new."  

No get togethers, where there is unabashed drinking and drugging, entertainment, fornication, then driving.  No extravagant meals, where everyone goes back for thirds, gets sick and extremely uncomfortable.  The TV is turned on to watch the football game where some real drinking gets done, everyone passes out, gets up a few hours later, completely depressed and wonders what is  the purpose of this behavioral problem.

On the day of Jesus' birth, he willingly became one of us. To live and die for us, to give us a gift that no one can take away but can be refused, this is a sad day.  

The coming Crucifixion and death for the sin of everyone that he loved that ever lived, are living and the spirits and souls of those he knew before they were conceived.  For the first time in eternity past, separated from his Father but still 100% man, 100% God, died for everyone's sin.   In reality, not one of least sin could be atoned for even if it took a quadrillion years.  

The physical dying of Jesus was horrendous but when the Father looked away from Jesus as he bore all the sins of the past and all the sins of the future, for the first time in eternity past, the Father had to turn his head from Jesus.  for the Father is all good and could not look at sin, which is us, except through the blood of Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross, his death and his Resurrection, which assures us every day is closer to his return that Jesus conquered sin and death for all who accept this free gift of salvation.

The only way I can live on this earth is knowing that Jesus paid for all my sins, past, present and future, I will always sin, and I have come to know truly that in the past year I must  rely totally on the blood of Jesus that covers me and gives me eternal security and not any "good deeds" that I've done for the kingdom is of any worth.

Bless Jesus, oh my soul.  I love you Jesus, I long to see you, look into your eyes and fall on my face before you for what I have done in my life , even daily, to murder you.  As you forgave me, I must somehow find the way to forgive myself so that I may  forgive others.  For without love and forgiveness, I have nothing.

UAW Ron Gettelfinger thinks building cars is an entitlement.  GM cut back to 60% of cars being made.  Is it really hard to understand why no one is buying cars.  Follow this; if the baby boomers bought a house in the '60's, a new car will cost them in most cases, 3 and a half times more than they paid for there house because of the UAW.

I don't understand the shock of screwing people for 80 years and wondering why it's turning on you.  You all should find volunteer positions helping people and seeing what it's like with no food, no meds, no drinking water, no bathing and no anything.  Hopefully you would have a little different outlook on your pathetic whining.

There are enough used and new cars sitting all over the US to last ten years besides, no one wants to pay for gas or drive anymore.

Go bankrupt and come back in ten years with a viable product for under $3000. at 2019 prices.

UAW Ron Gettelfinger is really singing the blues.  Let's see how much the blues cost.  $100. an hour x 40 hours = $4000. a week. X 4 weeks = $16,000. a month X 12 = $192,000.  a year.  Let's add time and half for Saturday and Sunday.  16 hours X $150. = $2400. a week. X 4 = $9600. X 12 Months = 115,200.  So, $192,000. + 115,000. = $370,000.  a year.  Lets throw in double time for holidays, you can figure that out.

A family of four or five will get all their tax money back plus all the claimed children benefits in cash back from the government.

If a worker, sitting his butt in a robot seat, which I saw on the news today, to take him 10 steps to the car makes $370,000. what does Gettelfinger make, why doesn't he open his books.

Gettelfinger you made a big mistake.

This country is in such bad moral shape that nothing will work.  I, along with other Americans have decided, without communicating, that we don't want to use any gas even at 24.9 cents a gallon, (the least price I can remember before that, was 19.9 cents a gallon).  We are tired of oil sludge, that takes 400 chemicals to refine to gas.  We are tired of those people over there making fortunes that can not be imagined.  Take a look a Dubai, and you better make it fast because it's all going to sink in the sand someday.  

I have not made over $8.01 an hour in my life, when Lennie the ?, told me I was at the peak of my pay rate and I would never get a raise.  Perhaps, I didn't buy into the more is better theory, bad theory, kind of like evolution, but nothing can compare to that lie.

 I always seemed to get along well and often had more cash on me than a person making $500,000.  Now truly, it makes no difference at all to me.  The mental stress I would endure if I had more than one apartment, one house, one car, one wife would blow me up.  If I was making $370,000. a year, it would tell me, boy, am I working cheap.  A BIG LIE.

When you tick off the American people past an indefinable point, something happens in everyone's mind at once, which I have witnessed, in a village and in a powerful country before, an industry, a business, a bar, is finished, overnight, and that's it, as an example Americans have found alternatives without finding the promised alternatives, promised by the politicians, the industries, the President, the inventors, and anyone who can see a buck to be made, see Al Gore, not a penny spent for his jaw flapping as he flies his Shuttle like jet around the world.  

Cars have not improved gas mileage since the fifties, something is wrong, don't you think.  As a prime, just perfect example at just the perfect time, Gov. Rod Blagojevich trying to sell Obama's seat, do you think he acted alone.  People are acting with total impunity.

I happened to be born in, and live in, an area that is brutal.  Among many other stories, I saw a wise punk from Chicago, a protégé' of the owner of McCaw Cellular, Craig McCaw.  This young man was started out at $80,000. in 1988, I watched him totally disintegrate into an arsonist, a drug dealer, an alcoholic and a woman beater.  

One fine sunny day, Craig McCaw came into town, told him to get his things together in a supplied cardboard box, was escorted and driven to the Cellular One's apartment they paid for, and left, by two gentlemen outside the apartment door, afterwards, he hung out in an area he disdained, for quite a while. 

I saw him one day after that, driving past an apartment up the street, knocking on his girlfriend's door, with a look on his face I have never seen on anyone since.  I felt a great sorrow for him, even though he owed me $80,000., co-incidentally, for a dealer network, I had locked up and owned.  I worked hard to put it together, of which I never saw a penny.  

Craig McCaw in 1990, was the highest paid CEO in the United States.  In 1994, the McCaw brothers sold McCaw Cellular to AT&T for $12.6 billion.  Which brings another anomaly to mind.

I feel the next thing to go is the cellular industry. What other industry, except for the car industry can screw their customers day after day, with 8 dollar an hour workers with bad attitudes, and have their customers, mostly teens and young adults, come back over and over again for another screwing, this is not normal behavior.  Of course, these are not normal times, if there ever was such a thing, and really will become so abnormal, it will implode.

America will someday stop in their stride and default on their super expensive, "cellular plans, designed to save you money," and  en masse decide they really don't need to text (the most time consuming, worthless waste that ever was invented), or talk on a digital  "walkie-talkie", (one person can speak at a time, if not, your voice cuts off the other persons, sort of like a speakerphone), state of the art overpriced digital phones where you really can't, (because of the digital delay time it takes to convert your analog voice, to digital and back to analog again), carry on a normal conversation.  

One way to check this out is to call your own answering machine and see how long it takes your voice to get there once the beep sounds.  That is roughly the same amount of time it takes to get to the person that you are talking to with the same process back to you.  If it is still not clear, look at a walkie-talkie the police use, only one person can speak at a time, this is exactly what your high tech, high priced phone that you probably got for free, with the foreknowledge of the cellular company, they will get the cost of that phone back so many times, you would puke, but even if you knew how much the cellular companies make on you, you would still go back for more, it hurts me to see my loved ones caught in this vicious cycle, mainly because of the moral degradation of this country, and because I was in the biz.

Those commercials with all the people in the background, just think, every time you pay your bill, you are dragging them with you, what a heavy weight on your shoulders in a world gone bad.

The auto bailout is a dead issue.  When the UAW refused to co-operate the bill was killed.  UPS workers have a strong union as well but they are not foolish.  At $17. an hour, most have a cottage on a lake somewhere and a lot have the equivalent of a high school diploma.  UPS workers work.  They work hard in weather that is unimaginable all year round.  They make a fair wage but compared to the when all is said and done wage of the UAW, I just can't understand what happened in Detroit.

In reality, the UAW workers make $100. an hour.  You are now going to find out what reality is for the rest of us.  While I don't wish you harm, you should have thought of others before yourselves.

A contract with a bankrupt company isn't much good but again, take a nice vacation until 2011.  Perhaps when all the dust settles, Americans will have a great fully featured green car for $3000. made by people who love their job.

Obama offers Israel a nuclear umbrella.  It looks to me that Obama is trying to gain Israel's trust.  The US will back Israel in any venture it should take.  Bless Israel and bless the Jewish people.
